Essential Oils for Throat Chakra Balance
Vissudha—fifth or throat—chakra is involved with expression and communication, including language, dance, art, music, etc. A balanced chakra lets you express yourself and be true to your word and actions. An out-of-balance throat chakra suppresses true expression, resulting in difficulty communicating with others or sometimes unwanted angry outbursts.
Essential Oils for Throat Chakra Balance
Recommended best essential oils for throat chakra balance from Aromatherapy and Subtle Energy Techniques:
- German chamomile supports calm and gentle speaking about emotions and truths.
- Lavender promotes wise speaking and listening.
- Petitgrain promotes expressiveness and positive communication.
- Roman chamomile supports calm and gentle speaking of emotions and spiritual truths.
Other suggested oils include basil, bergamot, cypress, geranium, jasmine, neroli, patchouli, peppermint, thyme, and ylang ylang.
The book lists common imbalances and suggests balancing throat chakra essential oils and also includes symptoms of congested energy with suggested oils. I recommend this book for the most comprehensive suggestions about essential oils for chakras.
Subtle Aromatherapy also suggests german and roman chamomiles, plus states that
the energizing action of myrrh helps if you tend to keep quiet through fear or lack of confidence.
