Sacral Chakra Essential Oils to Balance the Second Chakra

Swadhisthana—the second or sacral—chakra relates to fluidity, creativity, emotions, and sexuality. If this chakra is out of balance, both creative/artistic and sexual expression can either be overt and excessive or repressed and hidden.

Symbolic representation of the second chakra with the words Sacral Chakra Essential Oils.

The best sacral chakra essential oils are usually less dense than first chakra oils and include many of the aphrodisiac oils, according to Subtle Aromatherapy. Choose essential oils that calm emotions and ease fear of change.

What Essential Oils Are Good for the Sacral Chakra?

Recommended sacral chakra essential oils from Aromatherapy and Subtle Energy Techniques:

  • Cardamom promotes creativity and sensuality. Helps us see the goodness in other people.
  • Coriander supports creativity, spontaneity, and passion and promotes warmth and optimism in relationships.
  • Dill encourages emotional balance and harmony.
  • Geranium promotes feminine creativity and relaxed spontaneity and helps balance mood swings.
  • Jasmine nurtures love, joy, and harmony; supports creativity, artistic development, sensitivity, and sensuality; and connects spirituality and sexuality.
