Probably the most recommended of essential oils for scars is helichrysum.
A simple scar recipe is to combine 10 drops helichrysum with 1 tablespoon rosehip seed oil and 1 tablespoon hazelnut oil. Rub a little of the blend into the scar twice a day.
Essential oils for scars tend to work best when applied soon after the scar forms. While recent scars may fade within a few weeks, old scars may require you to apply an essential oil blend two to three times a day for three to six months or longer.
